Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: How accurate is the AI detection?
A: iCarX uses advanced CoreML models for local AI analysis. Paint detection accuracy is approximately 85-90%, tire depth detection error is within Β±0.5mm, and engine sound diagnosis is based on spectral analysis technology. Detection results are for reference only; for major faults, please consult a professional technician.
Q: Is my data secure?
A: Absolutely secure. All data (photos, recordings, inspection reports) is processed locally on your device and will not be uploaded to any server. You can delete all data at any time through the app settings.
Q: Why does the app need camera and microphone permissions?
A: Each permission corresponds to a core function: Camera for capturing vehicle photos (paint and tire inspection), Microphone for recording engine sounds for AI fault diagnosis. All permissions can be managed in system settings at any time.
Q: Which vehicle models are supported?
A: iCarX supports all brands and models of cars, SUVs, and light trucks. The AI models have been trained on extensive vehicle data and can identify most common vehicle issues.
